Form Teacher Guidance Period (FTGP)

Form Teacher Guidance Period (FTGP) is an integral part of CCE that helps pupils develop their Social-Emotional Competencies, in particular, their self awareness, self management, social awareness, self management and responsible decision making. These are fundamental to ensure pupils’ social, emotional and mental well-being.   Youth issues such as Cyberwellness are also delivered through the FTGP curriculum.
FTGP lessons utilise authentic and meaningful contexts and are differentiated according to the needs of the grade level to ensure age-appropriateness. Interaction Activities, specially designed to build positive teacher-student relationships and class bonding, are also conducted regularly.

During these FTGP sessions too, teachers will have one-to-one interaction time with their pupils. Through these interaction time, teachers will get to know the pupils better and hope to strengthen teacher-student relationship (TSR).
